Bob Smith is running for Congress to bring common sense, accountability, and proven leadership back to the Central Coast.

A retired U.S. Navy Commander, combat veteran, and systems engineer, Bob has spent his life leading teams, solving hard problems, and serving his country. He is not running to build a political career. He is running because the Central Coast needs more than another predictable vote in Washington. We need a representative with experience, independence, and leadership to take responsibility and deliver results.

For too long, the Central Coast has been controlled by a closed political pipeline in which the same insiders move from one office, board, commission, or government role to the next while the same problems remain unsolved.

Bob believes public office should be public service, not a career ladder. He is running to break up the political machine, represent everyone in California’s 24th Congressional District, and restore opportunities for middle-class and working-class families.

His campaign is focused on affordability, public safety, responsible immigration reform, reliable energy and water, strong schools, veterans, and the restoration of the American Dream for the next generation.
